Using text sizes that are about half as big as those on the Chicago map we were able to cover almost all of the District. Of course, we've included all of the streets and many world-renowned places in between, like the White House, National Mall, and Capitol Complex. DC's famous traffic circles, such as Dupont and Logan, are playfully shown centered on large bullet point symbols. Eye-catching waterways, like the Potomac and Anacostia, are depicted as white text flowing on a dark blue background.

The map is based on place names and geography as they appear in OpenStreetMap.
